In loving memory of Maura (1964-2008), my best friend. This blog is a gift to our sons, Sam and JJ and to everyone who knew her. The entries are in no particular order but are tagged by year and subject. Most everyone know she raced bikes for a long time but did not really see her at races. As anyone can see, she is big on cycling, Hawaii, anything pink and most importantly, life.

Somewhere In The 80s...
Maura in a playful mood. Picture is sometime in the 80s given the hairstyle and the style of the pants she was wearing. I believe this was taken at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo.
