In loving memory of Maura (1964-2008), my best friend. This blog is a gift to our sons, Sam and JJ and to everyone who knew her. The entries are in no particular order but are tagged by year and subject. Most everyone know she raced bikes for a long time but did not really see her at races. As anyone can see, she is big on cycling, Hawaii, anything pink and most importantly, life.

Between Trees
I had forgotten about this picture that I took during a visit to Yosemite in February 2007. We played in a snow-packed meadow for most of the day freezing our buns off just outside the park, a few minutes from Fish Camp.
