In loving memory of Maura (1964-2008), my best friend. This blog is a gift to our sons, Sam and JJ and to everyone who knew her. The entries are in no particular order but are tagged by year and subject. Most everyone know she raced bikes for a long time but did not really see her at races. As anyone can see, she is big on cycling, Hawaii, anything pink and most importantly, life.

Maura's 3rd Grade Class photo. She is in the 3rd row from the front, 4th from the left. Merlinda School is still around today but I'm sure the demographics had completely changed over the past 41 years.
