In loving memory of Maura (1964-2008), my best friend. This blog is a gift to our sons, Sam and JJ and to everyone who knew her. The entries are in no particular order but are tagged by year and subject. Most everyone know she raced bikes for a long time but did not really see her at races. As anyone can see, she is big on cycling, Hawaii, anything pink and most importantly, life.

Aloha, 1994
This is on the Hilo side of the Big Island of Hawaii. Our first visit to the island, it rained a lot during our stay but it was definitely warm rain in the middle of November in 1994.
