In loving memory of Maura (1964-2008), my best friend. This blog is a gift to our sons, Sam and JJ and to everyone who knew her. The entries are in no particular order but are tagged by year and subject. Most everyone know she raced bikes for a long time but did not really see her at races. As anyone can see, she is big on cycling, Hawaii, anything pink and most importantly, life.

Bathing Sam, 1999
Maura giving Sam a bath in the sink at the cabin we were staying at in Mineral King (Sequoia Nat'l Park) This was our first visit to Mineral King in 1999 and we've been going there ever since.
