In loving memory of Maura (1964-2008), my best friend. This blog is a gift to our sons, Sam and JJ and to everyone who knew her. The entries are in no particular order but are tagged by year and subject. Most everyone know she raced bikes for a long time but did not really see her at races. As anyone can see, she is big on cycling, Hawaii, anything pink and most importantly, life.

Self-Portrait (2007)
Maura took this photo while inside a children's art area at the Getty Center in 2007. I bought her the camera as a birthday gift the year prior.
