In loving memory of Maura (1964-2008), my best friend. This blog is a gift to our sons, Sam and JJ and to everyone who knew her. The entries are in no particular order but are tagged by year and subject. Most everyone know she raced bikes for a long time but did not really see her at races. As anyone can see, she is big on cycling, Hawaii, anything pink and most importantly, life.

Maura and Sugie, 1998
Hanging out in the backyard with sister-in-law Sugie in 1998 just before Sam was born. In the driveway is Maura's red Honda Civic DX she bought in 1989. She held on to it until Sam was born and had to go get an SUV -- a '98 Blazer.
