In loving memory of Maura (1964-2008), my best friend. This blog is a gift to our sons, Sam and JJ and to everyone who knew her. The entries are in no particular order but are tagged by year and subject. Most everyone know she raced bikes for a long time but did not really see her at races. As anyone can see, she is big on cycling, Hawaii, anything pink and most importantly, life.

Stop It!
I still remember taking this photo driving home on the 10 freeway. She basically told me to stop and waved this fist at me. I took the picture anyway. This was in the early 90s.
