In loving memory of Maura (1964-2008), my best friend. This blog is a gift to our sons, Sam and JJ and to everyone who knew her. The entries are in no particular order but are tagged by year and subject. Most everyone know she raced bikes for a long time but did not really see her at races. As anyone can see, she is big on cycling, Hawaii, anything pink and most importantly, life.

Pink Helmet, 1993
It's pretty easy to spot her in a pack of cyclists during a race. Besides the distinguishing jersey, she wore this pink helmet for a long time.
