In loving memory of Maura (1964-2008), my best friend. This blog is a gift to our sons, Sam and JJ and to everyone who knew her. The entries are in no particular order but are tagged by year and subject. Most everyone know she raced bikes for a long time but did not really see her at races. As anyone can see, she is big on cycling, Hawaii, anything pink and most importantly, life.

Summer Of Sam, 1998
This was at the couch in Pasadena. Sam, being a summer baby wore a lot of shorts during his first year. The house only had a window air conditioning unit and was used a lot that summer.
