This first picture shows Maura waiting the the time trial start in the 1996 La Vuelta De Bisbee in this border town about an hour south of Tuscon. It was a multi-day race in April where the temperatures are in the 90s. This is about as late in the year one can tolerate in this desert town.
This shot shows Maura just starting the time trial in the 1994 Casper Classic in Wyoming. Just like the Bisbee race, this is a multi-day stage race where several national level athletes compete.
